How we expect members to treat each other on Schaire.

Purpose
In simple terms
Schaire is a place for genuine human connection. These standards protect that experience.
Community Standards define acceptable behavior on Schaire. They apply to all members, content, and interactions. Violations may result in enforcement under our Freedom with Due Process and Moderation & Appeals policies.
Harassment and bullying
In simple terms
Targeted abuse, threats, and persistent harassment are not allowed.
Prohibited conduct includes slurs, dehumanization, coordinated harassment, sexual harassment, threats of violence, and publishing others' private information to intimidate (doxxing). Disagreement is permitted; abuse is not.
Hate and discrimination
In simple terms
Attacks on people based on protected characteristics are prohibited.
Content that attacks individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics is prohibited. Context matters: educational discussion and good-faith policy debate are distinguished from hateful attacks in human review.
Violence and dangerous organizations
In simple terms
Threats, glorification of violence, and coordination of harm are prohibited.
Credible threats, incitement, glorification of violent acts, and content promoting terrorist or violent extremist organizations are prohibited. Urgent safety exceptions may require immediate containment pending human review.
Spam and fraud
In simple terms
Scams, fake engagement, and deceptive schemes undermine trust.
Spam, inauthentic amplification, phishing, investment fraud, impersonation for financial gain, and deceptive identity practices are prohibited. Automated or bulk unsolicited contact is not permitted.
Impersonation
In simple terms
Pretending to be someone else — especially for deception — is not allowed.
You may not impersonate individuals, brands, or organizations in a misleading way. Parody and fan accounts must be clearly labeled where applicable. Verified identity claims are governed by our Verification Policy.
Adult content
In simple terms
Non-consensual intimate imagery and exploitation are strictly prohibited.
Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is zero-tolerance and referred to authorities. Non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual exploitation, and content involving minors in sexual contexts is prohibited. Other adult content rules will be defined in product-specific guidelines following legal review.
Copyright and intellectual property
In simple terms
Respect others' creative work. Repeat infringement can result in account action.
Do not post content you do not have rights to use. Copyright complaints are handled under our Copyright Policy with notice-and-counter-notice procedures where applicable.
Illegal activity
In simple terms
Using Schaire for crimes or regulated illegal goods/services is prohibited.
Content and conduct that facilitate illegal activity — including certain regulated goods, human trafficking, or financial crimes — is prohibited. We cooperate with lawful requests as described in our Law Enforcement guidelines.
Misinformation
In simple terms
We prioritize safety-related misinformation for review. Ordinary political disagreement is not automatically removed.
Schaire does not attempt to arbitrate all disputed claims. We may act on misinformation that poses imminent harm (for example, dangerous health hoaxes or election interference where legally required). Good-faith sharing of incorrect information without malicious intent is generally addressed through context, labels, or reduced distribution rather than automatic suspension, unless it violates other standards.
Enforcement philosophy
In simple terms
Reports trigger review — not automatic punishment. Significant actions require human review.
Enforcement is graduated: warnings, feature limits, temporary restrictions, and permanent removal. Ordinary reports do not automatically suspend accounts. See Freedom with Due Process and Moderation & Appeals Policy for details.
